Chicago, Illinois – CPS and Illinois state budget cuts to public education are unacceptable to the Inter-American Magnet School (IAMS) community. Parents of students at IAMS will implement a series of actions that will voice their concerns nonstop. IAMS depends on small class sizes, a strong foundation in early bilingual education at the pre-k and kindergarten levels, and the kind of social and linguistic diversity only enabled by the availability of bussing.
